At the initiative of the Ukrainian National Platform, the Working Group 4 of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum announces the Photo Contest “Youth Creates Contacts between People!” organized in partnership with SALTO Eastern Europe and Caucasus Resource Centre.
The contest is open to individuals and Civil Society Organizations from Eastern Partnership countries – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, involved in youth projects.
Each participant can submit up to 5 works for the contest. The photos will be published on the Facebook page of the Working Group 4 for public voting. The winners will be announced and their photos will be presented during the 7th Annual Assembly of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum that will take place from 19 to 21 November 2015 in Kiev, Ukraine.
The winners will receive special prizes provided by SALTO Eastern Europe and Caucasus Resource Centre. One of them is the participation at an international youth event in 2016.
To take part in the contest, eligible candidates are invited to send their photos along with completed questionnaires to the email address: email@example.com until 9 November 2015.
The Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum (EaP CSF) was established in 2009 following the Prague Summit, which launched the Eastern Partnership. Apply now: scholarships for graduates from neighbourhood countries to study at the College of Europe
The College of Europe is offering a large number of scholarships to university graduates from European Neighbourhood Policy countries for post-graduate studies at the College of Europe during the academic year 2016-2017. These scholarships cover academic expenses, accommodation, meals and travel costs.
The countries concerned are: Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Egypt, Georgia, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Moldova, Morocco, the Palestinian Authority, Syria, Tunisia and Ukraine.
The selection procedure includes the following stages:
- Candidates are requested to visit the website of the College www.coleurope.eu and check the necessary information under ‘Postgraduate Programmes’ and ‘Admission’: admission requirements and language requirements.
- Candidates have to register and apply online.
- Candidates have to submit the online application form including the requested documents (cf. application instructions).
Online applications will be open from 1 November. Those interested should submit their application form before 20 January 2016. After selection by the study departments at the College of Europe, preselected candidates will be invited for an interview with the Professors/assistants of the department(s) they have applied for.

‘Saving the Land: a documentary from the Clima East Pilot project in Armenia
A documentary film called ‘Saving the land’ has been produced by the EU-funded Clima East Pilot project in Armenia, allowing all interested to discover more about the initiatives of the project in country.
The project focuses on the protection and restoration of the most vulnerable and degraded mountain rangelands (pastures and meadows) and of forest ecosystems in Armenia.
The main aim of the project is to favour the adoption of sustainable natural resource management practices adapted to the adverse impacts of climate change on mountain ecosystems of Armenia.
The film is available in Armenian and English.
The Clima East project, supporting climate change mitigation and adaptation in ENP East countries and Russia, supports partner countries so that they are better equipped for greenhouse gas emission reductions and better prepared to deal with the impacts of climate change. (EU Neighbourhood Info)
