The Report of the fourth Steering Committee (SC) meeting of the Eastern Partnership (EaP) Civil Society Forum (CSF) is now available online. At the meeting, which took place in Kyiv, Ukraine, Steering Committee members discussed the final preparations for the EaP Civil Society Forum in Chisinau and Forum’s activities, debated on the Forum’s organisational structure and its correspondence to the Forum’s goals, as well as shared recent developments in the National Platforms and Working Groups and the work of the Secretariat.
Before the meeting, one day was devoted to the strategy discussion, where the members focused on the analysis of the Forum’s role today and talked about its vision and activities in the future. During the last day, a lively discussion with the members of the National Platform of Ukraine and the Steering Committee representatives took place with exchange of views on the work of the Forum and developments in the civil society in EaP countries.
Put your project in the headline – Photo competition What does EU cooperation mean for you? Say it with a photo!
On the occasion of the EU Cooperation Day 2013, 21 September, the EU Neighbourhood Info Centre, in cooperation with INTERACT ENPI, invites all EU funded projects implemented in the EU Neighbourhood to submit their best photo describing how they are making a difference.
As a reward, the two winning projects, one for the East and one for the South, will get a full media coverage of their work, including:
- A photo reportage by a professional photographer of the Agence France Press
- An audio story made with AFP photos with voice-over of the EU Neighbourhood Info Centre
- A feature story written by a professional local journalist to be placed in the leading newspapers of the country of the project
- Promotion of the project on the website, mailing list, and social media platforms of the EU Neighbourhood Info Centre
The deadline for submissions is 30 September 2013. Applicants must use the submission form online.
The three best pictures of the East and the three best pictures of the South will be shortlisted by the EU Neighbourhood Info Centre and published on the Facebook wall of the Centre on 7 October 2013. People will have till 21 October to vote with a `like` for their favourite photos.
